UniPilot Plus Subscription

Subscriptions are processed by Apple and renew automatically unless canceled in App Store settings. To recover an existing subscription, open UniPilot and tap Restore Subscription on the paywall.

iCloud Backup and Restore

When you sign in with Apple and iCloud is available, UniPilot backs up your study plan to the app's private CloudKit database in your iCloud account. After reinstalling UniPilot, sign in with the same Apple account and iCloud account to restore the backed-up study plan.

If your data does not appear, check that iCloud is enabled on the device, that you are using the same Apple account, and that the device has network access.

Common Checks

For notifications, make sure UniPilot is allowed to send notifications in iOS Settings.
For timetable imports, use the calendar link copied from the University of Amsterdam Rooster website.
For course imports, use a direct Studiegids course page link.
For AI course recognition, supported devices may use Apple Intelligence first. Other devices may use OpenAI when a course page needs to be parsed.
For Live Activities and Dynamic Island, make sure Live Activities are enabled in iOS Settings.
For subscription access, check that you are signed in with the Apple ID that purchased UniPilot Plus, then use Restore Subscription.
For iCloud restore, make sure iCloud is available and sign in with the same Apple account used before deleting the app.

Privacy, Legal, and EULA

UniPilot keeps study planning data on your device and can back it up to the app's private CloudKit database in your iCloud account. UniPilot does not use advertising tracking. You can delete your UniPilot account, local study data, and UniPilot's private iCloud backup from Profile Settings in the app.
